How To Convert Your Instagram Profile To A Business Account
If you’re a business and you haven’t switched your Instagram account from a personal profile to a business profile, you’re missing out on some great features, such as: Insights, Shoppable Posts and Advertising.
Converting your account is quick and easy, just follow these steps:
Open the Instagram app on your device.
Go to your profile and tap the ‘Profile’ icon
Tap the ‘Settings’ cog
Under ‘Account’ you should see the option ‘Switch to Business Profile’, tap it.
At this point you will be given the option to connect a Facebook page, this is not compulsory, so if you don’t have one but in order to share posts onto your Facebook page, use Instagram shopping and other 3rd party applications it will need to be connected
Complete the requested details, such as business category and contact information.
Click ‘Done’
